SEIZURE SERIES: “sketches from my weekly trauma”
I give you the title of each piece of work, size, medium, and description of what the painting means to me. I have been working on this process that takes me into understanding how an ‘immediate recall sketch’ can build and become a painting that solidifies something once erratic. The series is called Seizure Series: “sketches from my weekly trauma”, and is a very personal look into my lifelong relationship with an otherworldly force, epilepsy. Unpredictably jarring and excruciatingly painful, it is a brain injury it is a wrath.
